What’s going on with the Art Forum here? Honestly, I haven’t touched any of the forums in months, and I’m a tad nervous to check in on it now.
Mostly nothing of value. A bunch of spam got leaked into the art forum (one was about family guy). Ehhhhhh...
@misterbright Spam? Like people keep posting the same stuff over and over again or is it bot posts that attempt to redirect you to malicious sites?

@misterbright Ah. I believe it’s because the new artists coming here want to treat that forum like their own general, but that’s just an assumption on my part.

@misterbright Like I said, it was just an assumption. Because there’s an influx of art posts here due to the exodus of DeviantArt and ArtStation, I would hazard a guess the misuse of the Art Forum is coming from new artist users.
I mean, some legit have issues with art dumping and improper ratings in the Art Portal, who’s to say they wouldn’t be irresponsible with the Art Forum as well?

I didn't have much interaction on Twitter back when I had one, was useless so just got rid of it. It's wonderful to hear that things have been super positive for you there though! Art Discords, in my experience, have difficulties staying active for the very reason you point out. Most of us artists are either introverted, socially awkward, or otherwise experience social difficulties. I have no idea how to help change that exactly, but I could offer to join and try to help keep people engaged socially.
