This is why it’s never as simple for artists as “take a day off from social media.” Yes, it’s good for your mental health, but even a few hours off to touch grass could obliterate any chance of the mysterious “algorithm” of ever highlighting your works to interested strangers again. I’ll try to refrain from certain conspiracy theories I have about Twitter’s current owner, since you are clearly not in the mood for such a discussion.
