This game is very cute. Slowdown hits hard when you got lots of lil gremlins runnin around and coins bouncin everywhere.
Officer Jim OP plz nerf

I can think of a few games that does that. LOL
Over 20 years later and these games always sort of stuck in my mind and would pop up every now and then. I finally decided to play through them again and I gotta say that I still love em all these years later.
EDIT: Beat this one again too no problems. I like the original better (it's more "grounded" I guess and has more personality). It was nice to take a trip down memory lane. Thanks for the memories, brother. Much love.
Dude, I played the shit outta this and the sequel when I was like 12.
It's been over 20 years. Holy crap i'm old now.
EDIT: Beat it no problem. Thanks for this. It really took me back to better days.
Game is pretty decent. You are reliant on your minions that you recruit with every level up. The minions have different abilities and attack styles. It's a Vampire Survivors type of game so you have to run around and collect the XP gems enemies drop when they die to level up.
The game is too easy though. Your minions can't die and your own player character feels kind of useless. You pick a minion at the start of a level, but if you pick the wrong kind, like the medic, you can't kill enemies at all to level up. There is only 1 music track in the levels and I didn't like it the first time I heard it, let alone 4 separate times. There are only 4 levels in the game and I got through them without dying once. If you get the jumping sword guy, you can spam the jump button and fling yourself across the map.
The biggest issue the game has is the slowdown though. The levels progressively run slower and slower, with the final level running like everything is submerged in molasses. The idea behind the game is interesting, but the game itself is fairly shallow. I like the art style and character designs a lot, but other than that the game doesn't have much going for it.
Bonus points for having Cordellia from Dead Estate as a recruitable character.
I was told that I was in this game at the very end....
.......I was not

It's there, just keep trying
Yo! Hold it!
Could be a cool game when it's done, but it has some issues. The biggest one for me is there is zero feedback from hitting enemies. They don't seem to react at all and just continue to hit you while you attack them, making you take unnecessary damage unless you mash the attack button as fast as humanly possible before their attack animation starts.
